  • Do you cover the whole of the UK?
    The Atlantic are only available for hire within the South West, this includes Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset.
  • Is the band insured and is their equipment PAT tested?
    Yes, the band is fully insured, providing an extra layer of protection for both themselves and their clients. Additionally, all of their equipment is PAT tested. This ensures that the band's equipment meets the necessary safety standards, giving you peace of mind during your event.
  • Do the band provide their own sound equipment?
    Yes, the band brings their professional-grade sound equipment to ensure optimal sound quality for your event. This includes a PA system, microphones, and any necessary audio gear. They are well-equipped to handle various venue sizes and settings.
  • Can we choose the band's setlist?
    Unfortunately, song choices are best left to The Atlantic as they are experienced professionals who understand what works well for different events.
  • How long does it take you to set up?
    Assuming easy access to the venue, the band will require approximately one hour for setup and sound check. After their performance, they will need 30 to 45 minutes to pack up their equipment, which will be done concurrently with the DJ set.
  • Can the band provide live music during the ceremony or cocktail hour?
    Absolutely! The band is versatile and can provide live music during various parts of your event, including the ceremony or cocktail hour. Whether you prefer acoustic performances or instrumental music, they will work with you to create the desired atmosphere.
  • What are your power requirements and how much space do you need?
    The Atlantic requires a performance area measuring approximately 4m x 5m (13ft x 16ft), as flat as possible. However, they can accommodate smaller spaces if necessary. Additionally, the band requires a minimum of two standard 13amp sockets that are independent and not shared with other acts or suppliers.
  • Our venue has a sound limiter, does that pose an issue?
    The Atlantic is committed to following the sound regulations of each venue and ensuring a satisfactory experience for both the venue staff and the audience. Their average sound level is approximately 97db, which is typical for a live band. Any potential sound issues, such as the use of a limiter, will be discussed and clarified with the venue prior to the performance.
  • Do you need anything else from us on the day of the wedding/event?
    While not contractually obligated, it would be greatly appreciated if food and soft drinks could be provided for The Atlantic during the day/evening. Additionally, the band will require 3-4 car parking spaces in close proximity to the venue.
  • Do you provide a written contract?
    Certainly! The Atlantic will send you a contract that confirms your booking details and outlines the requirements for the day. The contract will also include their terms and conditions. This document serves as a legally binding agreement between both parties, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding of the agreed-upon arrangements.
